Authorities release the identities of two pedestrians killed in a train accident in Liberal over the weekend. A. Oct 29, 2024 · LIBERAL, Kan. com. (KSNW) — A 33-year-old woman died after her Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed in the southwest part of town Monday. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 61-year-old Adam Flores was pushing 42-year-old Deanna Flores in a wheelchair when the two tried to cross the railroad tracks while the crossing arms were down and the warning signals were flashing. The pedestrian, Adan Lozano, 54, of Liberal, was heading north on Kansas Avenue while the train was eastbound on the train track. Fields fled the scene in his car but was arrested soon afterward. It happened just after 8 p. Weiss, and directed by John Landis.
